was thinking about this recently in relation to my (few but cherished) offline female friends stepping up for me on (I hope) the rare occasion I need it, and how much I learn from the women here. kinda worked that out in my James Brown in the soul thread
anyway, for those who choose this is a thread dedicated to the great women of gfy. prose, poetry and lyric all acceptable. gifs if clever =p
Imma start, in no particular order:
Loreen: made me the best logo ever
MMG: a font of common sense, compassion and industry knowledge, and still fapping to the mental image of her making sweet sweet baby-making love in a corn field
Ruth: dunno what Paxum would do without her. hardest working women in the biz I know, and one of the nicest
Nat: a true hustler (in the best, good sense of the term) who has made a wonderful life on her own terms and is unapologetically herself. on that last tip trying hard to learn from that
Marina: do not know much about her but for her posts here. based on her sig already know her wicked taste in music, just simply find everything she writes insightful and interesting to read. she writes stuff that I didn't expect going in to learn, which is the most fun type of learning to me
Natalie Mojo: demonstrated care on the side of performers, never dealt with her at Mojo but already know first hand how awesome she is
Zuzanna: an epic hottie with killer biz skills, and she made me some neat floaty silver swirls once. she and her crew nailed a somewhat nebulous design request and my brief experience working with her co was a pleasure
Amelia: I love her work product so hard but that's beside the point. anyone who doesn't listen to her biz input is missing out and those of us who do need to be thankful
so chock-a-block with biz savvy and style and substance above. what say you all? please free to add, or elaborate
not me, I made this thread. anyone tries I'll spam you with reggaeton til kingdom come
