The affiliate business model is far from dead in adult, affiliates that actually know how to market and sell products is where the issue is, they dont exist anymore because affiliate webmasters were pandered to by programs to the point where they didnt need to
know how to pre-sell products, they became complacent in wanting the program owners to do
all the work for them.
Fhgs, freesites, cheap membership costs, blog posts, rss feeds, etc, etc.... Affiliates today arent even remotely in the same class as we were 10-15-20 years ago, because back then we
HAD to know how to sell to the surfers on our sites.
Affiliates grew lazy, programs grew lazy, they stopped supporting affiliate webmasters with educational seminars, weekly chats, etc, during the 'golden age' of porn, these things happened all the time and people made bank, actually
SELLING porn, not just throwing any old shit up against a wall and hoping that some it sticks like today
