might be crap for now, but if everyone is on board to accept free/instant Bitcoin payments via Lightning Network, they could in the future have less need for the controlling rules & high fees of MC/Visa.

JPC Coin is obviously a cash grab, can't totally blame them for trying, but like Konrad already said, another coin for payments is unnecessary and it's not introducing any new problem solve.
