place eggs in boiling water in pan on hob, a cheat to stop cracking, add squirt of vinegar into water before lowering eggs in.
Boil for 4 mins for soft boiled and 8 mins for hard, then pour cold water straight into pan and leave for a moment with cold water.
tap egg on side and peel, all in one, the shell is removed
