I never understood this one and had never heard of Kim or Ray before the sex tape. I guess Robert Kardashian was famous for the OJ trial, but the only name I remembered from that was Johnny Cochran.

I guess I had also never heard of Paris Hilton before her tape, but that one definitely went more "viral" in 2004, and at least the Hilton brand was a household name.
