All is going well for the most part. I ignore those who run around yelling the sky is falling and stick to those who want to sell umbrella's. There are some shake up's for sure but I see them as corrections of things allowed in the past. Yes during Covid there was a rash of newbie's wanting a second income and they were picked off an fleeced - while others survived with good guidance from veterans.
Covid's damage not just happened in trade shows being cancelled but what happened even more chilling is the political situation tore the community down the middle.
We all watched as Ron got thrown into jail - PH was shaken down and we lost some greats for a variety of reasons - one being JFK.
Yet at the end - it did bring some of us closer as we realized that sitting at home constantly slammed with shit - we reached out to the industry family. At times Saturday night I was conference calling with veterans who shared fun stories of days gone past and discussed the childlike attitudes of those fighting misinformation. Yet those who kept their work ethic and stable mindset are surviving and GFY still a good place to hang
