I had an incident in a local BK here, in Toronto, Canada (Finch/Yone) at around midnight.

After I ordered my meal, I gave $5 US (not Canadian) to the cashier. The posted exchange rate on the board was 30% (meaning $1.30 CAD for each $1.00 US). I asked how much it would be so the cashier goes inside to ask the manager, who is Black. (Note that there's no whites working at that BK either)

She returns and says it's $6.00. I told her that she was wrong and that it should be $6.50 (I didn't really care about the 50c, I proceeded arguing due to the principle). I explained to her in words that "for every US dollar, I need to get ONE THIRTY Canadian dollars. She seemed to understand and calculated herself on a piece of paper and got 6.50. She then told me that there's nothing she could do because the manager said it's $6.00 and that's it.

I decided that I'll go eat my food first before it gets cold and then go talk to the ignorant manager. While eating the food, I exchanged a few of those angry eye contacts with the black manager and I could see his inside hate against me (probably because i'm White).

After I finished the food, I go up to the counter and ask for the manager. He comes out with that attitude "what the fuck do you need?". I ask him how he got $6.00 and not $6.50. I explained to him that, "it's 30% exchange rate, so for every $1 US dollar, I need to get $1.30. When you take 30 and multiply by 5 it would equal 150, meaning $1.50 more." He looked puzzled (like I was talking a different language) and kept yapping that it's $6.00.
I asked for a pen and paper and wrote $1.30 six times in a row, and added them (showing the remainder, etc). Note that all the employees at the desk were looking and even laughing while I was showing this like the manager was a 5 year old. He still didn't want to look at it (probably because he didn't know what that "stuff" meant) so I told him to bring the calculator and show me how he calculated that.

He then went to his backroom and brought a calculator. He pressed "5", "x", "1.30", "=", "6.5". I said to him "you see." to which he didn't reply. He cleared the calculator and did it again. And again. And again. And again. AT LEAST 20 TIMES!!! (every time he got 6.5) Almost all the employees were already laughing by that time - even the ones working at the back (was late at night so the store wasn't busy). I proceed to tell him "you don't believe the calculator?" to which he didn't reply either. He silently (and full of rage) went to the cash machine, took out 50c, and put them on the counter. Before I take them, I ask him "you are not going to apologize?" to which he replied "No.". I asked him "why" and he replied "because the other calculator showed 6" and went into the backroom.

The other employees started laughing and apologized for him. I said that it's nice of them but the manager has to immediately go back to elementary school.

The next time I went there, there was a different Persian manager which is always nice and greetful. I asked him about the story and he said he had already known about it from the other employees and promised a free meal next time as form of "compensation". I got that meal the next time.

Now every time I go in and the black manager is there, he gives me this hateful eye contact, even while eating my meal with my friends.

I am proabably going to send a copy of the above to the BK main office in Canada.

This just shows how minorities have so much power over white people and there's nothing that can be done about it. I'm sure that if I were Black too, I would NOT get such treatment.
