Why should someone in England take the day off?
Does someone in Seattle take the day off every year to remember the 10's of thousands that died in the Earth Quake that destroyed Lisbon in 1755 ?
No, if something doesn't happen in someones country, the fact of the matter is it just isn't all that important.
Does anyone take the day off to remember the 3-5 million people that died of AIDS in Africa last year?
How about the few million that Died in Iraq?
No, strange, much larger events, 100's and 100's times more people die, and yet no one sits and thinks about them..
Not flamming americans, it is just human nature.. If it isn't in our own backyard, or we don't have something to gain from it, we dont' give a rats ass.
This is a generalisation as of course there are always exceptions to this..
As for burning in Hell, it is too bad that Hell is a fictional place, created only to drive people to follow a certain path in life or else they will 'go to hell' ..
And this is all coming from a middle class white guy living in North America, imaging what someone in the Middle East thinks of it..
Religion is not the main reason obviously that this happened, as the US funding the Talibans enemies for however long probably was the largest motivator for someone top crash a plane into a building, but it sure as hell gave these people the justification they were looking for, and you wish a punishment created by your equally fallable and twisted religion on them?
Fuck, the human race pisses me off
