i sure as hell trust an opinion from your background over some disgruntled journalist - or a guy in Canada who's never even owned a VR headset.
VR is a niche. mobile was a niche at one point. we saw it grow every year and now its the primary device.
my kid has sleepover parties in VR with his friends. he's on VR 6 hours a day at least. he exercises, socializes, and learns in VR. its not for everyone, but it will be (has been) adopted by the younger gens.
now Zucks metaverse? that will die out like Second Life.
