My hit & run has cost me over $30k already. Thats not mentioning the fact that I'm in a wheelchair now and have endured excrutiating pain, and a surgery to have a steel plate and 6 screws put in my knee. And I'm still looking at 7 more months of recovery, according to my doctor.

Luckily for me, the accident happened at a very busy intersection, and even though it was at midnight, two of the witnessess have stepped forward and said they could identify the driver of the truck that hit me. U-Haul has already given his information to the LVPD and they are moving forward on the case, since hit & run with injuries is a felony here. I dont think this guy will be getting off with a $72 fine.... he's gonna be a guest of the state for quite a while, according to the detectives that are prosecuting him.

I'm glad there are people out there like you that will step forward with information when they witness a crime.

My best wishes to your recovery. It's hit and run stories like this that make you really wonder about the finer things in life. I hope that bastard gets caught and spends a lot of time enjoying the finer luxuries of a nevada prison cell.
