Here's why:
One of the problems with site owners creating "ghettos" for political debate is it almost always divides the community into two segments, the main forum becomes monochromatic and boring and the ghetto is where all the interesting discussions happen.
I posted it in both to get the info to everyone on GFY, regardless of which board they actively follow.
It's called "community service goodwill"
If you have a problem with that, send a stern letter to your congressman.
