so you will end up with some pretty poor performing gasoline that will probably hurt the scooter more than help it
the ethanol is not a problem unless you have gas just sitting in the tank for a long period of time so the better solution is that if you are going to sit the bike for a while, drain the tank or add stabilizer

If I buy a new scooter, it should be set up for such fuel.
My old 1968 scooter, may only be used a few times.
Not sure what the fuel is like in the tank, as it could be years old.
I will look at it once it gets warmer.
