How do you know Google can recognize and penalizes AI generated content? I'm curious. It seems Google can't even fully detect scrapped sites which are strict copy/paste content.

I was worried about people making entire sites with AI. They could make an authority site that used to take 18 months and do it within a week. Every site out there from recipe sites to those bloated informational, WebMd type sites would vanish instantly or be drowned out.

Couldn't you just run it through a content spinner?

Yeah, it's like connecting to a company's automated voice system when you call. You just want to talk to a human being and you'll get the info you need within 8 seconds. Instead you have to spend 5 hours going through their entire menu and after you do you wasted time and are frustrated.

Right now ChatGTP or AI feels threatening, like almost all websites and online services will be replaced with this tech. But like you said, there's nothing special about it.

I'm thinking I can use it as a tool to get ideas etc, but am still unsure what it's effect will really be. I guess I'm nervous and skeptical at the same time.
