based on reviews from unhappy customers I figure 20 copies is a fair estimate, esp as according to you*, you are burning through your savings bringing in $100 a month in revenue from your three projects
the overwhelming number of your few reviews are really, really bad. a 2 min google search showed 16 over the past 10 years or so, 13 of which were submitted by unhappy purchasers
wonky product, rude and/or non-existent support according to 13 of those 16 reviews. colour me shocked lol

that's one of the reasons why I've always paid attention to who I am recommending before I do so to someone who trusts my advice/opinion. that's happened many times over the years, and I've been on the receiving end many times of well-researched advice from others as well
I look at it like, if I rec something to someone, ultimately it's a reflection on me as well. plus I have this pesky desire to not see friends and colleagues in the biz get burned
this isn't specifically directed towards you, you're just the one who raised the particular sidenote
as to WP-Script, man I bet whomever wrote that rant felt really shitty after they calmed down. sometimes it's best to simply step away from the keyboard when all riled up
I do get the anger, no one likes to see their hard work get stolen. sadly ironic that their tube script rose to prominence during a time when the major feeder tubes were engaging in overt piracy from content owners/producers tho
hope when the dust settles they manage to clear up the wtfness of that bizarre missive and move forward in a way that's fair to their legit clients
