I lived in Seattle for a decade, I know the ins and outs.

I mean look at those companies and think how seamlessly they do generally work together. I have Eero routers (Amazon) around my house, I control them seamlessly from my Samsung Android device and my girlfriends iPhone to watch netflix, both devices have Uber. Now think about what it takes as some who makes content to distribute and sell that content in this space, it is anything but seamless. We use elevatedX and NATS, the missed integration opportunities between them, billing, cams, dating and adnetworks is staggering. And that is money left on the table because of disorganization, dishonesty and overprotected fiefdoms. Business is business, but this industry is much worse at it and it costs us.
100% agreed. The "issue" then is with the Industry itself and the "product" they (we) are selling. All the companies you mentioned have a vested interest in the mainstream connection and sharing that comes with their setups. Porn is a (guilty) pleasure for many, not a necessity. So the approach is different and much more short-sighted.

Aside from the rare production that catches the mainstream's attention, and despite all the Award shows, one porn video looks very much like any other porn video: people having sex. Of course there are major differences but the mainstream rarely understands or even notices those differences. Therefore it's relatively easy to view Adult as a disposable product with moral strings attached (for many) and thus not to be taken seriously. This leads to justification by pirates and thieves to do whatever they want. Since there is no central authority regulating anything it's the Wild West.

My point is understand the playground you are playing in and watch out for the bullies who will steal your lunch money. LOL

(These are comments about the Adult Industry as a whole, not tubes specifically.)
