My point was that if you take drugs it stays in your system sometimes months if not years. If they stopped even a few months before getting pregnant the drugs could still be in the system. As such this becomes a risk.
The hormones may be out of the system quicker then other drugs, but the question is, is the risk to a baby worth it.
Much of this is new, so long term is not known.
Indeed thalidomide was once thought safe.

Maybe you are not trying to be a jerk, but it sounds like you are making medically inaccurate assumptions about people you do not know personally and you are basing your prejudiced assumptions on a combination of bigotry towards trans people and lack of knowledge of female biology.
Hormones are not really drugs, and see above for puberty blockers being irrelevant, so what drugs are you talking about?
Yes, some people take better care than others when pregnant and it is tragic when anyone takes truly bad care, such as what you have witnessed. But it comes across bigoted when you assume that someone ever having supplemented testosterone means they are being extra careless with their pregnancy.
