In general, there is no difference. But if you want to be picky, imperfect would indicate something that is “almost perfect, but not quite perfect". While “not perfect" could be something entirely different depending on the context.

When you realize that we could make an AI model of you, and give you the software to upsell to your fanbase so they can make fantasy content of you for themselves, you might feel differently about AI. Its a perfect passive income stream that would cost you nothing...
