Their last few movies were a disaster bringing huge loss. Not sure if you watched the video, but Disney has liquidity of only $200 million, which means such a big company is in a really big trouble.
Just have a look at the size of this behemoth and think about their running costs for a moment and nothing else:

They probably can't afford to run for the next few months without selling some of their companies, let alone working on the next big blockbuster.
