They add up fast? By all estimates I've seen, there are fewer than 1 million paid subscribers. That is $8M a month, $96M a year. At that rate, it'll take Elon about 458 years to recoup his $44B investment.
Rest assured that if subscribers and revenue was adding up fast, Elon would be readily sharing and bragging about it. Instead, his teams are getting evicted from their offices because they can't afford to pay rent.
