you're too ignorant and old to understand VR. you don't have to post negativity on every VR thread. its only you laughing - and everybody under 30 laughing at you.

So apparently this happens to everyone that disagrees with you as I'm sure you've not only seen the threads about VR and refuse to comment on them because there are too many that would jump all over you.

Since you've read what I've said and seem to take an interest in me then you'll know I've said all along - it has potential but is still a niche market. The technology has to get better for VR to grow.

I am also not alone in this

Oculus VR co-founder Palmer Luckey — who left Facebook last year — has criticized VR companies publicly for what he sees as their two-faced treatment of adult content.

“It’s this very strange situation where if you talk privately to people who work at major VR companies and you say, ‘Hey, what do you think about VR porn?’ And they say, ‘Oh, I love VR porn!’” he said at an industry event in Japan in September.

“But then they go to a public panel at a game development conference, and they’ll get asked, ‘What do you think about VR porn?’ They say, ‘What is VR porn? I don’t know anything about that.’”

Despite these hurdles, producers said demand for VR porn content is growing, though it still remains a niche market.

But the porn industry’s plans to capitalize on VR are facing a roadblock from headset makers. Producers say they are being treated unfairly by major manufacturers who block porn apps from their online stores, thereby making it harder for consumers to access adult VR content. While apps aren’t required for viewing porn, they provide a user-friendly interface that allows consumers to access and view videos without having to manually download each new movie.

Now each time someone posts negatively about it the same reasons come up

The positions:: maintaining that illusion requires changing position whenever the subject does, which is certainly more finagling than most people want to do while masturbating.

The format:: None of us felt that being able to see the ceiling, floor, and walls that encased the bedroom where the sex was happening added to our experience with the sex. In fact, at some points, they were a bit distracting.

The ability to skip the bullshit:: We've all skipped the beginning of a porn video to get to the good stuff -- awkward acting and thin storylines are just about the least sexy thing there is. And if you don't live alone, it's very important to be able to turn down the volume when others are near or pause your porn video at the first sign of an intruder.

On higher-end VR headsets like the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive, you can easily pause and fast-forward videos with controllers. But most big VR platforms don't allow porn. And let's be honest: Anyone who's buying a headset just to watch porn isn't probably down with the big expense of a Rift.

With cheaper cardboard viewers, pausing, fast-forwarding, or even changing the volume of a video typically requires fumbling to open in the headset, pulling the phone out of it, scrolling ahead, and then putting it all back together. That process can sometimes take a minute or more, and the hassle really takes you out of the experience.

The bottom line VR porn is an interesting idea, and I enjoyed the videos I watched. But at the end of the day, porn just isn't as compatible with the VR format as it is with the computer screen. Certainly, it doesn't enhance the porn experience enough (yet) to make buying a headset worth it.

I hope VR porn continues to thrive in niche communities, whose sexual or technological preferences attract them to the format. But for the moment, old-school porn is here to stay.

You obviously are invested in this which is why you're jumping all over my ass and calling me names and anyone else. With age comes wisdom - experience and common sense along with being in this industry for as long a certain amount of perspective of what can work and what needs working on. VR needs working on and it's still a niche.
