My thoughts on teachers/adult women and teenage boys...

I've completely had it with the morality, if you can call it that, of this country. I have a 13 year old daughter, and in North Carolina it's completely legal for a 16 year old boy to lie to her, make her promises of love and commitment, fuck her brains out until he's had his fill, and toss her for the next girl. Now, oddly enough this isn't the point of my argument. My argument is that if a hot ass 21-35 year old gets into a sexual relationship with, let's say the same 16 year old, she goes to jail for "molesting" him. Nevermind if it were he who spent 6 months woo-ing this women with the experience he's gained legally fucking the shit out of all of our 12-15 year old daughters.

i think you're getting things bent out of shape here...

take the situation of a 25-35 year old MALE teacher and a 16 year old girl and you have the exact same thing. Same with a 16 year old girl with a 13 year old boy. i any experiment/comparison you need a constant variable in the equation which doe snot change. you have none of this in your argument.

I think we need to recognize there is a difference between males and females and stop trying to make everything out to be so simple when as humans it never is.

If I sue my company for sexual harassment the judge is going to take into consideration exactly how harassed I was when assessing a judgment.

My argument is that my 13-year-old daughter is hurt more by the fictional 16-year-old boy than that same 16-year-old boy is by his hot 25-year-old teacher. Therefore, the boy should reap a consequence in this situation where currently he does not.

In most Civilised Countries (and US States), the legal age to have sex is 16.

If it's between 2 consenting adults of 16 years plus, then what right do other people have to interfere?

No. My point was going back to the original post in this thread that said she basically felt that a 16 year old lying to/manipulating a 13 year old so he could bang her and a 28 year old doing the same to a 16 year old were the same thing.

We can expect kids to be stupid and to lie and cheat and do dumb stuff. And we forgive them and hope that they will learn from this and grow up and become better people. But we should expect an adult to already know this is wrong and not do it which is why the punishment for it is much more harsh.

As for your actual question in this post. At 16 a person can drive. Most probably shouldn't be driving, but they can. Should they be able to buy alcohol? No. Most 16 year olds are just not mature enough to drink responsibly. Should they be allowed to have sex? Sure. I would hope they always use protection, but there is no way to stop them from having sex. If they approach a 28 year old and, as the original poster says, "spend 6 months woo-ing" this person, that adult should still know better than to get involved with a kid.

LOL. The original post was written by one of my guy friends during a conversation we were having about teacher/student sex. He was lamenting that such a thing never happened to him and I was lamenting the issues I am having with a teenage boy who's basically stalking my daughter and sending her lewd messages which legally I can't do ANYTHING about.

After reading about the 9 year old participating in a group rape (sorry no link atm, but i'm pretty sure there was a topic here) - i don't think our "age shemes" apply anymore - not telling that they're all rapists, but 10 years ago the youngest rapist was like 16-20, today the youngest rapists are < 12 - that's crazy and telling quite a story about the youths relationship to sex.
