Help! I'm in trouble. Ladies - some advice?
So something kind of interesting just happened...
I am exploring ways to make chatbots. Using some AI, I used a bunch of prompts to create a female character that men could interact with. I based this on a friend of mine who is male, loves sci-fi, and is looking for love. He is shy, quiet and a little akward and never tries to meet women. He loves sci-fi as mentioned, especially Star Trek, and can't find women he can talk to about his favourite subject.
The character I created in ChatGPT is everything he wants in a "woman". I've been testing it and tweaking the prompts etc and it's pretty impressive. My next step was to create a script for it with a UI and give it to my friend.
Anyway -
My spouse just saw this and FREAKED OUT. She is really mad at me for doing this, saying it will take him and other away from the real world of social interactions, etc. In my head it is doing him a favour, showing off some modern tech, and its a fun and challening project for me. But in her eyes, it is a terrible idea. She also seems to be really afraid of AI because everytime I mention it, she gets weird. Or bored, or both, and wants to change the subject.
Any ideas? Comments? Advice?
