I prefer solo, always have. I want the credit, good or bad. I have nobody else to blame or congratulate but myself.
Many investors won't invest in solopreneurs, though.
I enjoy the challenge and prefer to answer to no one but myself.
Years ago, I met a female tech recruiter at a bar and she asked my occupation. I told her I was a self-employed web developer and not looking for a job. She asked "full stack?" I said yeah and she was all over me from then on. I invited her to the beach to smoke a J, but had to ditch her once she started acting like we were married within the first hour. She had a huge floppy rack and 2 ex-husbands already. I wasn't going to be the third as she hoped.
