I spotted this on Obama’s social media feeds as his recommendation for an NGO that is Hawaii-based and the majority of donations go directly to help Maui residents who have been devastated by the fires. We are always wary of disaster GoFundMe campaigns that have a high incidence of fraud, so was glad Hawaiian-native Obama recommend this one.
