Do you compare yourself to a lawyer or a doctor, really?

The work of lawyers occupies a wide spectrum of legal advice, that has nothing to do with defending criminals. Such as corporate law, legal advice, labor law, commercial law, etc...

What you are referring to is criminal defense lawyers and in this case they are necessary, not to protect criminals, but to maintain integrity in democracy and that all individuals have a fair defense. Because in democracies the presumption of innocence prevails.

What we see on a daily basis with DMCA companies:

1. They send legal documents without being lawyers or understanding the law.
2. They constantly commit federal crimes by sending erroneous notifications in many cases that never take into account fair usage policy or freedom of expression. When content is for commercial use, it can be criticized or reviews and adaptations can be made without exposing the complete work or an important part of the work.
3. When there is no pirated content, it is the same DMCA companies that pirate it directly or paying third parties to keep getting money.
4. It does not take into account that the DMCA law is a US law and that Europe itself has its own copyright laws.
5. DMCA companies live off piracy more directly than anyone. Without piracy there is no business, so they are financially motivated, while websites like el_mango would have methods to continue offering content without falling into any piracy illegality if they wanted to.
