Do you have business rates in the USA?
In the UK shops are closing, one factor is silly business rates, along with cost of energy and supermarkets selling everything 24/7, and online shopping, and lack of footfall.
but I often think business rates are stupid and very high in the UK.
I did wonder if they have this form of tax in the USA?
