I don't want to say too much because I still know people in B.C. film, but... that Allison woman on the set of Smallville was openly recruiting women and flaunting her connections to people all the time. People who work in B.C. film all know who the abusers are (there are many) but the film industry is extremely incestuous... if you don't conform, you're fucked... I dated an actress who had credits for speaking roles in many local productions, and she was straight up with me and said she didn't get lead roles because she wasn't willing to "do what she had to do" in the industry. Allison tried to get her to go on "trips" with her to various places and not once did she agree to it, but many other actresses did. Allison basically tried to recruit women 24/7 on or off the Smallville set and everyone knew it.
People who like to "make believe" in film, carry that same attitude in the rest of their lives. The world's a stage, and they practice acting and manipulating people whether there is a camera there or not. Why do you think people used to not trust actors?
Remember, Zelenskyy is an actor... but I digress.
Also, I know a woman who went on to star in one of Netflix's bigger shows, and she went from being a somewhat normal person to her Twitter being a non-stop flow of pro-democrat propaganda. She's not even American! I don't even think she runs her Twitter, but she became a completely different person after making it in Hollywood. I think she even has a trans toddler now.
Even Morgan Spurlock was less up his own ass than my former friend who went onto stardom with Netflix. I think going from a normal person to an instant celebrity overnight and making massive money made her tow the line pretty quick!
