My excessive computer usage and refusal to wear eye glasses (yes, I know I'm vain) in my youth resulted in poor vision, so my dreams of being a fighter pilot were grounded.
I was in Air Force ROTC my freshman year of HS, but was expelled my sophomore year. I disliked authority due to my rebellious nature and said "fuck academia and corporate America (80% feminist women teachers and HR departments)". I refuse to be talked down to by a woman. I'm often wrongfully accused of being misogynistic (I do not hate women), but I'm really just a bit chauvinistic as men are clearly superior in nearly every way, except child-bearing and perhaps empathy (which possibly should not be considered a virtue anyway). Only a complete wimp would think that men and women are remotely on the same level.
90% of my closest male relatives were honorable military men. My father worked on the missile guidance system for the CRUISE missile. Brother is an active MP (he 6'5"-6'6" and too tall for a jet cockpit). Uncle was a WWII fighter pilot. Maternal Grandfather served in Korean war and was nearly killed with broken neck while Jeep hit land mine.
I'm referred to as a Viking often, due to my tall muscular stature with blond hair and blue eyes and it's clear I come from a lineage of savage warriors. I feel it's my responsibility to bring financial wealth to my family since I didn't serve myself.
I'm guessing you were fishing for a reciprocal "thank you for your service" as you've mentioned you were an ATC a dozen times here already.
