We stopped uploading to Xvideos a while ago. Many other paysites and producers have also stopped uploading their content to Xvideos. I am in contact with more and more studios, indie creators, and producers each day who stopped uploading there and to other tube sites.
Xvideos will not allow you to put logo watermarks on the videos you upload. They will delete the video and remove the content or not approve it at all. They told us we cannot upload videos with watermarks that have our domain extension ".com" in the watermark. This is a blatant attempt to prevent users from typing in our domain name and visiting our site directly. Yet, they want our content so they can benefit from it.
But this is what we consider to be a proper watermark.
It's time to start calling out these companies more.
Let's keep this topic alive and keep putting our thumb on these tubes that are profiting off indie creator and studio content every day, but make it very difficult for you to get traffic in return and paying you pennies on the dollar via their sub-par "Premium" content programs.
The name of the tube game is: give us clips and content so we can sell our premium tube memberships and make money from your content... but we are going to try and prevent you from getting any clicks to your site.
They want to keep their surfers on their tube site, not send them to your site.
I have been saying this for years. Seems people are starting to listen.
