If she is with someone she might not want that part of her past to be highlighted so just walk up and confidently start talking to her like you would any other woman. Don't even acknowledge it.
I used to be neighbors with Jessica Biel in Santa Monica and I would see her out walking her dog all the time so our dogs would meet up and have a little play time and I never once acknowledged that I knew who she was although I'm sure she assumed it. Same with a host of other celebrities I just never acknowledged it therefore I was able to have a real conversation.
Or you can do what the dude up above recommended which is walk up and say you're part of the industry but if she's with somebody who's not aware of that or she just wants to leave that in the past then you've already put yourself at a disadvantage.
Every once in awhile I'll look up a couple of the pornstars that I knew and I find out they have legally changed their first and last names or moved to some place like Wisconsin. Obviously they're trying to bury their past.
