Fraud attempts are everywhere. We have a huge retirement community here with 15k people and they are all on Nextdoor complaining about fraud attempts.
Yesterday someone went to the local gas station and their card was declined three times. Turns out there was a skimmer on the pump and every time she tried to bill her card for $200 a pop. The bank thankfully declined it.
