you can use your .com, i was just suggesting to keep your .com for your own blog & images so you can link to these in forums, as your modelcentro official site, you want to keep as subscription only, therefore, not to have free content from there apart from the affiliate content...
having a .xxx will give you the edge to having this as your official site...
