But there is also modelcentro which in core offers everything I would need, but it feels like it's very outdated, their last blog entry is from 2017. That kind of looks like they stopped developing when OF came up.
Also, there is Centroprofits, the affiliate thing they got. However, that also seems to be focused on Fancentro. And do marketers use it?

So, no idea what to do now. Any tips welcome, for payment processors, Modelcentro alternatives or anything else that could bring me closer to my own page.

Thank you!
Hi TheGoodWife,

You will undoubtably get alot of advice from alot of different people so making the best choices for you could be difficult. To make things even more difficult for you, here is my advice.

- Use CCBill.com, Segpay.com or Epoch.com as your payment processor. Each will charge you about 14.5% per transaction, but they provide excellent services & tools and services. CCBill offers an affiliate program that can help you to get more traffic too.

- Build your own website on your own. It may take you more time, but the experience and knowledge you gain from doing this is invaluable. Start by downloading any number of free HTML5 Templates from places like https://freehtml5.co then go from there. Starting with a Template helps make sure that you get the look-and-feel that you want, and that your design always looks great on Desktop and Mobile devices.

- Choose your hosting provider carefully. You don't need a dedicated server. A small virtual server is ideal, and costs only a few dollars a month. I personally like https://tmdhosting.com alot. Or another alternative is to ask someone to spin-up a virtual machine for you at https://linode.com but while cheaper, it is more complicated to do.

Good luck!! If you need any assistance please feel free to contact me at [email protected]
