It was not very long ago that questioning levels of immigration resulted in a ban on most city/province subs. What takes the cake is the open REVOLT that is happening in the Ontario sub:

This sub is the most woke and progressive of all the provincial subs... and until recently, was pretty much 100% in support of the Liberals and immigration... oh how the turn tables Mr. Lahey!
If you want a very sobering experience, take some photos you find online of an apartment in somewhere like, Kelowna, Calgary, or Halifax, then post those photos with a slightly cheaper rent than average, say, $200 a month cheaper than average. You will get 100's of emails and calls per hour.
I just rented a sick little place for $900 all included, with enough room to work on my cars and blast my music. Super lucky to get this place. My landlord said he received 200+ calls the first day and even after I rented it, people were showing up at his house and banging on the door at like 6 PM. He had car after car after car just show up to look at the property and beg him to rent it out. The housing crisis is 100% real and only getting worse.
Canada is in a nose-dive.
