I just had to put down my cat 6 months ago. No day has been the same without him. He was a highland lynx/bobcat I got from an exotic breeder. He acted more like a dog than a cat. One thing I'm really glad that my husband did was start an Instagram page years ago. I'm able to look back at all of the memories myself and my family had with him over the years. It's made it a little easier being able to laugh and smile at all the adventures he had with us. |
I am really sad to read that about your cat. Every word you said was so incredibly close to my heart, I can just feel the pain. Life is pretty meaningless when it is all about work and keeping people happy, we are just dust in the wind, and our pets have a different view on life, and they worry more for us than we realize. Mimi (my cat) was crawling under the blanket with me this morning, she did this never, even when I dragged her close to me she was always a little cold. But she felt I was down. So she moved her principals aside.
I am happy I have 4 gigs of pictures of Pity, my dog, it is painful to watch now, but I am sure that will be later a more comforting thing.
