Certainly, one practice involves upselling within member areas, a well-known tactic in the industry. Another issue pertains to footer links on offers that lead to "unintended" (ahum) link leaks. AWE serves as a clear instance with plugin links under your label (ClubEliteChat). I noticed one such occurrence last month. It's one of those practices that I find disagreeable.
