The plugin is designed to meet these needs. Any XML file (as well as RSS, JSON and CSV sources) can be imported as a WordPress post, page or any custom post type. The user decides exactly which elements of the XML feed they want to see in the post and how they need to be formatted with HTML.
Simply replace the WooCommerce product post type in this article with any other post type you want to be generated:
