Sorry about your friends. Shower Posse wasn't like that in the Bronx. They integrated pretty good, kept the violence to rival gangs not civilians. If you weren't a rival, they were the most friendlist people in the neighborhood. I don't know their deep history in Jamaica, but they've been eradicated from the Bronx. The ones that were able to stay + their kids became Bloods & Crips and no longer have anything that separates them from everybody else. They're just "African Americans" now lol. Their Jamaican culture is gone.

They were very influential in my life in their heyday tho. I believe those days and that integration are what created Reggaeton.
