Regardless of sending sales, when payment types have been discontinued (e.g. Epassport **shutters**, and more recently Paxum), we have sent out multiple emails, as well as posted news on our site, letting affiliates know the reason and advising them to change their payment type. Setting the higher pay allows for the money to keep accruing, giving you time to swap your payment type. People really don't like it when programs internally change their payment types.
