Richards has been completely sober for 5 years and drug free for 20. He also has suffered from several serious health conditions the last 20 years of his life most likely also brought on by his many years of poor lifestyle choices.

To say they are both going strong is false, they are both just hanging on to the end of life and their day to day existence is mostly miserable.

You have a daughter to live for, at the rate you're going you only have about a 20% chance of seeing her turn 21.
