I don't think this will be solved with porn related age verification services but rather there will be these generic ones that cater to any type of online sales that requires you to be 18 or above, and then to pornography as well.
That way there is a lot of reasons to be verified through such a service other than watching porn, which I think would be crucial for mass adoption.
Think more of a digital ID that verifies you as an adult on the web, whether it's for buying tobacco or the latest pseudo incest double fisting chronicles.
