They're on the same team. The tariff threats will not cause 1 multi-millionaire, 1 billionaire, not 1 politician or media person any lost sleep, no missed meals, and no worries. The elite have absolutely nothing to fear from tariffs because they will not be pushed into any hardship. During COVID, we saw the rich and elite able to travel and do anything they wanted pretty much. Do you remember how many celebrities got millions of dollars in "loans", for free?
Do you remember how many billionaires doubled or tripled their wealth during COVID? How much money did Elon make during COVID?

The elite and ultra-powerful never let a crisis go to waste. This fake crisis with Trump is going to allow Trudeau and gang to slip Mark Carney in as the leader of Canada under the guise of "Canada First!!!" and this country will continue funneling all power, cultural output, money and control upwards. Canada is basically a giant social experiment and we've got to be one of the most heavily propagandized nations on Earth. If you are intelligent and even ask questions or point out things that seem odd, other Canadians will rip into you as if skepticism is somehow a bad thing.
The Emperor's New Clothes - this has been a theme across different societies for centuries, because actual wisdom over generations of human beings tells us that people CAN AND WILL fall for a collective illusion because the social pressure to conform can be so great, that most people will just break and go along with it. It takes extreme bravery, or the free mind of a child or the artist, to be able to stand up and say "holy fuck people, that mother fucker has no clothes!"
Now all of the clapping seal, NPC Canadians on alllllll social media have neatly divided themselves into either the super pro-Liberal party, "Canada First!!!" blind loyal establishment hacks, or their opposition is the low-buck racist "51st staters" who meme everything in the opposite direction of the above... yet BOTH SIDES for the most part, pushed the COVID vaccine and discussions about just how poisonous the clot shot was are simply never talked about. It is completely memoryholed and now everything is Canada VS USA while the real crimes committed against the Canadian and American people go completely uninvestigated and forgotten.
