Prison is truly the most inappropriate place to talk about your romantic successes. Prison "codes" still play a leading role in establishing hierarchy in Russian correctional facilities. It is worth noting that similar "codes" exist in prisons of other countries as well, and overall, they are quite similar.
Very often, discrediting information about an inmate (retrieved from their phone) can work against them if it falls into the hands of correctional facility staff. They may use it for blackmail, forcing the inmate to cooperate with the administration (mainly by becoming an informant).
