It is possible to rent indeed for long time. But must be on time.
Most apartments are rented long time to pensioners during European winter.
And they go after rentals without hotel license. Airbnb became very strict.
I was in Greece last year, also good prices for wine and food and great country.
I am looking to go for 2 months Gran Canaria this year.
But plans can change. Roadtrip south of Spain could also be an option, From Alicante to Marbella.
There where floodings in Gran Canaria few weeks ago.
