Nightmare mate - Best of luck.
For the last couple of years, I've had crazy blood levels from my diabetes. They had me on the max does of metformin I could have and it still wouldn't go down! Then, just before Xmas, I started Ozempic. Not for its weight loss abilities per say, but for its diabetic properties...
Just last week I was re-tested. Without any lifestyle changes, my blood sugars are now at 'Pre-Diabetic' levels and they have halved my Metformin Dose...
Not sure if it would apply to you, but Ozempic (Or Wegovy - Same drug / Different name) may be something to ask about? If you are not already too far gone that is?
