The markets are going to tank, they'll buy more stocks, then Trump will rollback the tariffs and the markets will increase, lather, rinse, repeat.

Making the poor, poorer, is just a nice benefit for them, you can't control rich people, you can however control and manipulate the working poor, just look at the average voter.
