When I was just a kid I worked for a window washer who was physically disabled because he was ran over by a vehicle when he was young and broke like 30 bones and was in a coma for like ever. Then after he woke up and learned to walk and talk again, he couldn't do everything perfect. He seemed retarded but that was only because he had been hit by a truck. His mind was still sharp and he ran a really successful window washing company that I worked for like 3 months at when I was 16.
Keep in mind, less than 100 years ago, if your wife was a bitch you could get her committed to a poor farm or mental hospital!
The bar for "disabled" is very blurrey until you actually meet and observe the disabled poeople. Even some people who are quads are super intelligent, I mean, they have nothing else to do but read and learn and spend time doing mental stuff. Not like they can get up and shoot some hoops or some shit!
