Anyone here using a registrar they like?
Dear Amelia,
Try to find an ICANN accredited registrar from your own state (so if anything happens, you can sort it immediately) but if you can't do that, then try to to use a registrar where that is incorporated where you have legal counsel.

That is the only important thing here, nothing else, really. No one can steal your domains as long as you use legitimate information, and even if someone manages to hack you, you will be able to get the domains back almost immediately if you use a registrar that can be contacted by your legal counsel. That's why you shoud always opt for a local option, and not necessarily for the cheapest option... either way, I suggest that you look up things like: "domain registrar from $state", etc.

Important note: never put all your eggs in the same basket... so, try to keep your most important domains in one account, protected by 2FA (on one phone number, or a hardware 2FA device like YubiKey), and the rest on another, protected by another phone number, etc... try to limit the damage as much as possible... so all of this means:
- Different email accounts
- Different phone numbers
- Hardware 2FA devices

Separate your personal banking and your business banking as well. It may be annoying, but it can help in the long run.
