Michael James Pratt, the New Zealand businessman behind the notorious GirlsDoPorn.com, has been sentenced to 27 years in prison for sex trafficking and conspiracy. For a decade, Pratt and his associates lured young women into porn shoots under false pretenses, trapping them in hotel rooms, coercing them into performing, and distributing the videos online despite promises of privacy.
Victims described a pattern of deception, threats, and abuse — with some enduring violent assaults, forced drug use, and years of harassment after the videos spread across major adult sites.
After fleeing the U.S. mid-trial, Pratt landed on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list before being captured in Spain and extradited in 2024.
This sentencing closes one of the adult industry’s most notorious sex trafficking cases — but for many survivors, true justice still feels out of reach.
