AI reminds me of a classic Twilight Zone TV show called Nice Place to Visit



In it a small-time hoodlum named Rocky gets killed by the police during a robbery and finds an afterlife where he can have anything he wants. Every casino game he plays he wins - any girl he wants he gets - any robbery he does works - there is nothing that he can't do or get in trouble over - he has perfect luck in everything and gets everything he wants. He checks the hall of records thinking that he should not be in heaven but apparently his name is there.

Rocky muses to Pip (his guide) over his lack of satisfaction at being given everything he wants with no effort or risk. Deciding that he will go insane if he stays in this stifling paradise any longer, Rocky asks Pip to send him to "the other place" — insisting that he does not belong in Heaven. Pip retorts, "Heaven? Whatever gave you the idea you were in Heaven, Mr. Valentine? This IS the other place!"

Rocky is now horrified and pulls on the now locked door, as he desperately tries to escape, Pip laughs evilly and maniacally.



AI is similar in nature - you can get anything and everything you want until eventually you'll get bored of it and like the challenge of a woman who will say no or at least disagree with you. Getting all you want as this show demonstrates is not always what's best and we will soon be driven mad at always winning.
